Bad

I have beaten literally hundreds of time management games, most on expert skill. Yeah, yeah. I'm a loser with a lot of time. But this game feels very nonlinear and kind of impossible to complete in the expected time given. Not so great. Not so user friendly. Not enough space given for setup. Just... not good.

Fun Game to Pass the Time

This game is not the greatest game I have ever played, but I thought it was a fun little game with a cute story, that was fun to pass some time. Basically you take men and put them through different centers to teach them skills, such as cooking, mechanics, speaking another language, etc. they have a large variety, so that the men can find love. Part of the challenge is not only finishing in the time given but also choosing which stations to pick. There are many stations and the men could request any of them and you only have so much room and cannot fit all of the stations, so you?re constantly changing the layout to get as many stations and also changing stations based on demand. I enjoyed this game. I liked strategizing and picking my own layout, it kind of added something different to just the regular old time management game.

Fun trying to perfect men

This game is great for women, bad for men. We all love to fix men, this game lets you do that. But if you are not careful and neglect a man for too long he will throw a fit and stomp off mad. Fun dreamy challenge :)

It's okay

A very strange game, IMO. If you can get past the whole weirdness, shallow nature and sexism of the game (towards both sexes), it's not a bad game. Negatives: Not enough room to put your training equipment. It's easy to get gold (so far). The men get impatient very quickly. The men seem useless on certain equipment at times, and you have to remove them from it and replace them over and over before they stop sweating and getting annoyed. It can become confusing when all the men start to come on at once, it's hard to see who wants what if they're on the "rest" area. There is only one "date table". The "Match 3" mini-game seems pointless. You earn money, but you don't really need it as you always have plenty! Plus, the bonuses (ie the freeze and the speed-up) hardly ever come up and you can't really match them as they're no where near each other! It's pointless updating the equipment. All it seems to do is allow the person to finish quicker (by a second or two). Plus, the upgraded equipment is mostly too large, especially when there isn't enough room anyway. It would be nice to be able to pause the game when you look for/buy new equipment, or when you want to rearrange equipment, as the men just get irritated for the few seconds it takes. Assistants would be good. Positives: It's not another HOG game. ZZZZZ It is a bit different. I did actually buy this game, despite the negatives. But this was only because it was on the "today's offer" at ?2.30.

Making Mr. Wrong

Making Mr. Right was about as wrong as it gets. This game was a sure-fire stinker from the start. We play as a love expert, whom is not married herself, gee, wonder why? She goes from town to town selling services at a studio to help hopelessly romantic men build their skills to catch the local girl of their dreams. There are several tiers in this game, and it falls into many categories, so it can all get very confusing. We have the time management part, in the studio itself, where the guys work on their skills. The builder game, where we build homes and shops to help the love grow in the community, and a match 3 game, where we match up stuff like candy, gems, and flowers in the gift shop as a side project. It?s a HGTV show on Lifetime sponsored by Every Kiss Begins with Kay. Too much going on here, way too much! I only lasted about 30 minutes with this stinky game, and I think I gave it far too much time. It was deleted from my drive, and there is no way I?ll be going back to it. I could have made up the time by watching the 1987 John Malkovich film of the same name, but it wasn?t much better than this game. Making Mr. Right just can?t be any more wrong.

Not enough for the cost.

My views on this game are somewhat mixed. While the puzzles are relatively fun there aren't much of them, and the challenge seems to waver between incredibly easy and incredibly hard, nowhere in the middle. The gift shop minigame seems pretty fun, but rather short. There is also not really much of a storyline here, but some Time management games don't have one period, so I'll live. I caught where men could be offended and there were a few things that could be taken the wrong way. Such as, instead of the guy coming in, after he has a girlfriend, and saying that he wants to learn something new, the girlfriend brings him in and says 'he needs to be trained more'. The 'trained like a dog' feeling could leave anyone uneasy and I'm sure there are more than a few who will dislike this. In the end, the main problem is that I see about as much fun, and filling, as I'd see in an online game. A free online game. I don't feel that the demo showed a game that was worth the price.

Passes the time away.

I am a huge fan of time management games, they are the reason that I joined Bigfish because I enjoy the pressure and the upgrades and the fun of these games. I liked 'Making Mr. Right' because it was simple, I also enjoyed the mix of Build A Lot, Match 3 and the regular time management games. it wasn't over the top and yet I still had problems... *It wasn't challenging, I swept through the games twice and felt little difficulty was added excepted the number of things to do but there was more time to do it. I didn't feel at all pushed or challenged. *The idea of making a Mr. Right makes women sound like high maintenance robots but because the audience is suggested to be young girls-it doesn't do too much harm. But personally I don't like the fact that men are "created", and they weren't good enough for these women; it was very degrading to women. Maybe I was too skeptical with the storyline and hard on it but I was shocked at the gameplay, yet I enjoyed the simplistic game play.

Sexist

Maybe some will see this review as "unhelpful", and that's fine. I could not even make it through the free trial hour of this game because I was so offended by the double standard and blatant sexism. If this game was about "training women", you can bet someone would have mentioned it by now. Sorry, forgive me for being a modern thinker, but this game wasn't for me.

What a laugh!

A hilarious game. Nice graphics, detail, variety and about 20 something levels (haven't reached the end yet) The fun part? Watching the male characters have their tantrums and trying to plant your stations in tetris form.
